Over the weekend we visited the
home and studio of Daniel Chester French, the sculptor who created the statue of Abraham Lincoln in the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. He also made the Minuteman Statue in Concord, MA. His
home and studio were just a great place to visit, and fully preserved and restored.
This is certainly a must see if you are in the Stockbridge area. Here is a view of his
