Well, I missed a month.

Don't really have much of an excuse other than I have just been a bit out of sorts. Tired a lot, and my evenings have been spent resting rather than being as productive as I would like. So today, July 1st I went off to the Doctor and have begun look into it. Nothing to report other than he took a lot of blood to test. . . So the month of June was all rain and cold weather... global warming I suppose and likely Bush's fault. Didn't get out on the boat but once or twice. We did have a great air show, and several great parties. We went to a sporting event and was dismayed that the Obama voters we were with (all very dear friends) elected not to respect the flag when the National Anthem was played, no hands over heart... guess that is just not acceptable in some crowds. Not to be nit picky but, the rules state:

United States Code Title 36
301. National anthem; Star-Spangled Banner
  1. The composition consisting of the words and music known as The Star-Spangled Banner is designated the national anthem of the United States of America.

  2. Conduct during playing — During rendition of the national anthem—
    1. when the flag is displayed —
      1. all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart;
      2. men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and
      3. individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note.

      So as we begin July I will attempt to be a bit more diligent about posting images and random thoughts and if I find some fun animations I will post up the links. Sorry for the big lag, but I am coming back.
