The Freezer, aboard F/V Persistence

The freezer area aboard the fishing vessel Persistence. Once the fish are prepared and boxed, at the far end of this room the boxes are inserted between the plates on these racks where they are frozen solid. Once frozen, they are removed from the racks and put into cold storage aboard until Persistence returns to the dock for unloading. The freezing process takes about four hours.
