Early Morning McAllister Tugs in Providence

McAllister Tugs at Promet Marine - Click image for larger view
I was out early this morning before work shooting the McAllister Tugs in Providence.  As I reached the Tug terminal in Providence these two, the McAllister Sisters and the Nancy McAllister, were underway. One tug was towing the other. It was a bit too dark to shoot them as I was getting a lot of motion blur, so I decided to go down to the Providence Piers and lo and behold the same two tugs were arriving at Promet Marine. I would guess that one needed repairs. I got this shot as they were entering the slip.  I shot this several ways including an HDR shot, but this single, non-HDR was my favorite.  I love shooting tugboat art. . . .  ISO 250, f4.5, .5 second exposure, 95mm - on tripod

Fantastic Ed. The crisp, colorful, early morning shot of the two tugs is a master piece in both composition and workers on the water.
